My Photography Journey so far…
Hi I'm Mark and I'm a Photographer and an Actor based in SE London. Here's a quick introduction about how I got started and what Mark Willshire Photography is all about....
In 2011 I was helping out a friend of mine practice their photography. In the middle of the shoot she asked if I wanted to have a go at taking some shots as I'd been asking so many questions! Immediately after that session I went to the nearest camera store and bought my first ever DSLR camera!
Cut to 2013 where my passion for photography had only continued to grow, and realised that i wanted to set up Mark Willshire Photography!
SO WHAT DO I SHOOT?
I'm interested in capturing a whole range of genres, but at the moment I've mainly been focusing on Portraits, Fashion, Fitness, Boudoir (Underwear/Lingerie), Dudoir (Boudoir for the dudes!) and Headshots
I shoot all over the UK, but was recently lucky enough to spend time working and shooting in the vibrant city of Toronto, which has expanded my knowledge and inspired me further
Over the last few years i’ve had the pleasure of shooting Models, Influencers, Vloggers, Designers, Performers, West End Stars, Broadway stars, British TV stars and even Hollywood Stars!!
I have built relationships with brands across each genre that I shoot. Some of those brands include Boksers (Men's Underwear), Night Prowl Lingerie, NEwear London and clothing brand Tommy Popcorn. I have lots more boutique/independent brands that I'm currently in the process of setting up shoots with and I'm always on the lookout for new brands to collaborate with.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT ON A SHOOT?
Whilst I'm shooting I like to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere because I believe it helps to bring out the best in your clients. Who wants to shoot with someone who literally just clicks the shutter and moves you along as if you were on a photo shoot conveyor belt?!?!?
Taking a look at the images we're creating every so often is also important to me as I feel everyone benefits for a number of reasons. I can see where I am with making you look great, you get to see how you look on camera (hopefully boosting your confidence) and we can all have a little breather so we don't feel like we're in a sprint to the finish!
After our shoot is over you will get a link to an online gallery of the images we've taken. You'll be able to create your own password for this gallery so you can view them, pick your favourites and eventually place your order.
